Have not watched the video yet (just about to) but if you have the DivX codec, just rename it ".wmv" at the end, it'll work fine with that extension.

[edit] -

Watched it now, and its really good for a test. I didb't really see the comedy parts, it looked more liks a serious fan film. But I like the way your actors did quite a lot for a test (like wearing no shoes and such).

One good point is that you have coustumes in it allready, and nice settings (close to that in the real LOTR). I also like the little Gollem bit.

From me a 4, because its looking good. (Some minor parts that weren't the best, but its looking good). I know some people may disagree with my 4, but it stays.

And by the way, you may wish to improve on camera angles, the arrow firing effect, and what I think is bad rotoscaping.

Ps, What I'd really like to know is what is that on the road?

I just renamed it to wmv and it worked for me

Anyway, there is something about the light that dosent feel LOTR style, you should color correct it abit...

first of all, never film into the sun!

The coustumes looked pretty nice, make them look more old thought.. rub them in with some mud etc.

Locations looks good, got some beautiful ones there, nice matte with the mountains...

One thing tho, never use plugins when u can use real humans, to creat an army just take a look at www.nccinema.ch

Good luck with the movie

ummm... maybe this is just me, but it looks like you adjusted the size to make it widescreen, instead of cutting off the bottom and top... and its a divx file, not quicktime. looked pretty good.

Only three things to fix.

1. Dialouge
2. Clean Camera lense
3. Higher Resolution Video

Other than that, great props, costumes, etc.

P.S. Where did you get that sword for "Gandalf." Is it real or fake? Nice prop.

JUST CHANGE THE EXTENTION FROM .divx TO .avi... .mpg also works as well.

That worked for me as well and quicktime is better anywayz

this video was alright. the mountain backround looks nice.

What did you do for the army? It was good, looks like the test took quite a bit of work.
