I'm new to this whole AlamDV and im also a beginner at movie making. What im wondering is can i export some of my edited movie clips in AlamDV to Windows Movie maker. I use Windows Movie maker alot and i need effects to go into it to make my movies ALOT! better. If someone can tell me if thats possible, that would be the greatest!

If you export your video from alam and import it into Windows Movie Maker it should work. However, this is a really obvious way to do it and you may have tried this and had the problems, if so what are these problems.
And if you have bought the program I would enter your magic code to prove it, makes it easier to spot problems (as yours may just be the watermark in the demo).

If you mean a file which records the clips for windows movie maker (like a timeline save) no. It would be movie files you would import and export.

and Alam cant import wmv's. well... it can... but it's really hard. so your gonna want to take the clip from your camera, import it into alam, put effects in, export, add in to the timeline in wmm.

what about importing a saved file from alam into Pinnacle 8. Like taking a special effect shot from alam so that i can use it with music and other things that Pinnacle uses.

Windows Movie maker is designed for families making day trip video clips to email to their friends, (hence the sample clips)
What you need is a DECENT free editing programme,
such as AVID FREE DV Version 1http://www.avid.com/freedv/index.asp
Not only is it far superior, it introduces you into a more proffesional interface... I highly reccomend it for begginers.
