|Here is our 62 second Cola commercial starring a Supra, bottle of coke and some fast driving. This film was made to taste our new (3rd) camera and we are very pleased. AlamDV was used to add the very nice looking lens flare effect as the car drives past. Let us know what you think!|Posted: Mon, 6th Oct 2003, 7:46pm

Hmm. Not a bad attempt. There were plenty of things I would have done differently, but since this is your movie, it doesn't matter. However, I didn't like the fade out/in when he goes in to buy the coke. You could have done some close ups of the transaction at the register or his grabbing the coke from the rack or something. And the music didn't need to fade out either. The lens flare worked. It looked real which is always good.

Really HOT car I must say..
I didn't like the "clicks and wind" in the beginning.. the recorded sound should be wiped totally, and added afterwards..
There really wasn't very much of a story, but pretty cool "racing" sequence..
One more thing on the negative side... Diet Coke sucks!!

Thanks people. This was thought of, shot, edited and finished off within around 6 hours as a test for a 1 min short. The story is minimal as its a tv style advert. I like diet coke actually
What do you prefer?
I like my car a lot, so if any of you have more ideas for short films with a Supra in them let me know, I'll see what I can do
Agree, some of the sound isn't perfect but it is all 'real' if thats any consolation, all recorded live from the car and the surroundings

I know, we did the credits before we decided on music and then forgot to change it

Not bad, the look was really clean until it got to be later in the evening then some of the shots were a little bit dark.
I agree with Aculag in that the fade in/out thing should have had a transition shot of him grabbing a coke or what have you.
Nicely done though

Well, it looked more like you were advertising the car and not the Coke.....but hey, if you got the wheels why not flaunt em....why not make a fan film about Knight Rider??....Hey, who said KITT had to be a Trans-am Pontiac!! hehe....look forward to next one guys..

Thanks. We came up with the idea in about 3-4 mins so its not the most complex film ever, it is complete though and tells a simple story. More than a lot of stuff I've seen
I wonder what we could do next? Never did like Knightrider, you think an update with a Supra might work???

I get you idea for this but it didn't really engage me. If it was designed around being an advert then I'd say it wasn't that effective. On the car front, I'd say it was,er, shiny.
Not sure being a boy racer and Diet Coke go together, though it must have been one hell of a thirst.

Editing was alright, cept' the transition. The music didn't really fit imo. it seems more like a supra ad (as already stated), and didn't make me want to buy coke as much as steal that car. (is that a euro or a jap model?) I also want to commend you on driving illegally fast, that was slick!

It was a Jap car and I have now sold it to pay for a brand spanking new Land Rover Defender. This will be a great addition for our filming. I would never drive at illegal speeds!!

Knight Rider ROCKS!
David Hasselhof is GOD!

Now you made me cry... LOOK WHAT YOU DID!!!
