If you dont own Alamdv2 its time two know what your missing!
1.Very realistic Muzzle flashes
2. Easy to use, just select effect and move it frame by frame
3. Awesome community, fun and helpful people and new things going on every time you come on Alamdv2.
4. Add in real explosions
5. Tons of plugins and if they dont have what you want just request it.
5. 83 dollars for almost 1000 effects, thats a deal
6. The cheapest price you will find for a special effects package.
7. If you put Alamdv's effects into your movies you can put your movie on here and let people comment and rate.
8. Its real quick to add a effect into your movie, at the most 15 minutes.
9. Also you can add some 3d, Alamdv isnt a 3d program but some people make it possible to add some of there 3d animation into Alamdv.
10. If you buy Alamdv you get the latest news on there other projects and you get Alamdv3 free.
So go out and spend that 83 dollars, trust me, its worth it!!

No offence Jessy, I know you are trying to be helpful, but all that information is on http://fxhome.com/alamdv2/about.html (in fact more is on that page).

If someone was wanting it, or was even just looking at the software, they would have looked there, and probably not at a post floating around.

And I don't like your number 5 (the first number 5 that is, you have 2). You've seen those whacky requests that we say no to and then someone else will request it... !!!

Someone might have given a minus because they thought it was a useless post because it is already on the site, or they didn't agree with it or anything

Now, I dont agree with giving it a +1 because it is all ready on the site - but I don't agree with giving it a -1.

I think that it should remain though, as it is someone else's veiws.

In the final count, the -1 probably won't attack your force, if I understand the way that the new force works. It just makes me tired to see all those -1 ratings... I get the feeling that most of the -1's that are given to people are usually done by the same users. Especially those picture or joke posts. I've never given a -1 to a picture post, because even if it wasn't funny, it is no skin off my nose. I just hit the damn back button. Now, it is unfortunate for those who are just here trying to use that to build up force. However, some honest people just think we could use a laugh every once in a while. The people that are notorious -1-givers probably could use a good laugh most of all.

Plus or minus. What's the difference? Everyone get together to make a +- multiforce rewriteable drive! No more battle of the formats.

I might be way off base here, but lately, jessy has been posting a whole lot of things that are "helpful" and it seems like he's only doing stuff like this to earn force. That's just what I get out of it...

I do too...Most of the stuff is common sense...It would be like posting a topic telling everybody that Oslo is the capital of Norway...Most people already know that but even if they didn't it wouldn't have any bearing on their lives.

Canta unsure

PS: Curiosity didn't kill the kAT...I did with a cork screw and a bottle of alcohol...

Well, you cant transfer all your force yourself, but Im sure the mastermind behind the coding could do it (if he is not too busy with more important matters, eg - cake)

jessy, every sunday night/monday morning the top posters get force. im not sure of the exact equasion, but i know it's hard get over 100, and i know that you usually get 10 times your rating #. so if you got +5 you would get 50 force. but if you have over 11 ratings, i guess you would get 100 maybe. so if you post helpful topics and they get rated good, you do get force for them then.

The rating system works like this. As stated, every Sunday night you get force based on what place your in for the best posters within the last 7 days. You can see these standings by going to Community > Best Posters. You get force by 11-rankingx10. So if your #1, you get 11-1=10x10=100 force points. If your #10, you get 11-10=1x10=10 force points. Only your positive ratings count for the rankings, the overall ranking is just for show. Make sense? wink

how bout the 2nd time

also, Jessy. I understand we all want more force.....but its getting really ennoying having you posting all these random tutorials and stuff. Its ovious you are wanting force, or thats part of it. No doubt, to sum people it is helpful, but maybe you could help if they ask. Now, if you find some great awsome 100% bullettime idea with no still cameras and rigs and green rooms...let us know.. heh.

just a thought. Thanks for trying to be helpful tho. biggrin

4. Add larger avatars to your name
5. Tons of colored saber blades and if they dont have what you want just live with it
5. 83 topics for almost 1000 force, thats a deal
6. The lamest way of getting force.
7. If you help people out with AlamDV2, they will be happy and give u +1
8. Its real quick to get force by saying nothing, at the most 15 minutes, just post a stupid picture!
9. Also you can tell your girlfriend that you got lots of 'FoRcE' and either:
a)She will look at you with a sexy smile
or
b)She will break up with you on the spot
10. If you buy Alamdv you can rate other peoples posts too. But sadly, not your own
So go out and make a useless topic now! Its worth it!

Its always good to be helpful...but than again there is also always limit. If your just being repetitive and writing up this that most people already have knowledge of or have a resource already infront of them their is not need to repeat information. Also this forum isn't about gaining force...force should be your least concern...sure its cool to have a long colourful lightsabre, but is it really gonna get you any where? Now your films should be your main focus they might just get some where...so the point is don't let the forum feature of "force" interfer with the real reason why this forum is here and dont get confused that this site is about star wars light sabres...its about FILMS!
