|This is the third episode of a series of matrix parodies I've made for intro's to my schools announcments. Sorry I am starting in the middle of the series but it's the only one I had compressed at the moment. They are nothing really fancy but I'd like to know wut you guys think.|
I will be doing a real Matrix fanfilm in the future

sneeked that in there
You had the same problems as me
the sun was too bright in places and caused backlight problems.
Acting was good as always, music and sound fx fitted well.
I think a tripod would have helped.
The cgi was well animated, i was impressed with the barrels.
I'm looking forward to seeing your X-men film

Nice acting. use a tripod, couldn't you hold the camera steadier? the 3D looked fake, the barrel thingys was good thought, good work there, would have been really good if they looked good
many good in here, but it could have been better!

That was really good. I thought the animation of the barrels was great, but a better texture would have helped make it seem more real. Looking forward to seeing your other two videos.

your barrel part was the only good part the rest just sucked it up. graphics were bad and sound could have been better. good idea but the acting killed you holy good. That imitaion of Lourence Phishburn was so bad it made the real him look like an acting good.

Guest you should learn to type so that what you say makes sense. And why are you hiding behind a guest name anyway. You know you are a regular to FXHOME. Show yourself my friend.

Just a small selection of crap I didnt understand in this post.
"Just sucked it up."
"Acting killed you holy good."
"Look like an acting good."
Well that pretty much sums up why I've lost all faith in humanity. If anyone needs me I'll be in the corner crying.

hey man, i got a favor to ask you. I also do the announcements for my school along with my friends, and i was wondering if you cared at all if we did a similar opening? I think it is most appropriate to ask you first, if you say no its cool. I appreciate any response, thanks.

I don't think some peole get it. You did this as a funny intro to use for all your schoolmates to see. The barrels and the flying are funny (as they should be when shown to the school).
The acting was great because it made me laugh - I think it was supposed to! I watched this clip several times (and it takes a lot to make me watch a clip more than once and chuckle out loud).
Nice work fellows!

Zikosuave It doesn't bother me if you do a similar intro for your school, The MAtrix is not owned by me of course. So sure go ahead and be creative.
Mach2Mike you are right a few people don't really get this clip which is why they gave me such poor scores. But thanks for liking it.

Liked a lot of this one. I actually thought there was nothing wrong with the acting. And it wasn't trying to be anything serious.
Anyway, I loved the idea of this vid you made. The only prob I had with it was the cutout shots of you two. I know it's a lot of work to bluescreen by just colouring in around you on a still frame. But the effort towards colouring many seconds of footage like that is worth it.

Clever idea as a school annoucement. The compositing seemed like the color was off and this detroyed the illusion which otherwise might have looked really nice.
The coreography was a little rough. It might have looked a little better if you'd have speeded it up a bit.
The comey about "nicer looking" etc was funny.
Far from the worst I've seen on here but plenty of room for improvement.

Yeah, that's why ever everyone else on this thread said pretty much the same thing. I wasn't dissing your clip, just mentioning where it could be improved. It's wholely inappropriate to get all defensive on me dude. But whatever. I liked the concept and I'm sure your technique will improve if it's only to rebuff the people who suggested you could do a lot better.

That was AWSOME. The special effects were REALLY good. I thought everything was real untill my friend informed me otherwise. The acting was so incredible, as well as the martial arts. Matt, keep this up, and you're going to end up with oscars and millions of dollars.

The matrix?....how so?
Nothing looked, acted or felt like a parody of it, aside from the dialogue...hmm..thats strange. Its an alright supershort, but i wouldnt really call this a parody.

Yeah right Bryce! There was plenty to show the Matrix. I think it's definitely one of the better "supershorts" on here. The only gripe I had with this film were the cutouts of the actors to make them fly through the air etc. But the 3d barrels? Man I could FEEL the contact. Nicely done. And like someone else said, could've had a dirtied texture or something.

Bryce please do everyone a favor. Turn your PC off, get up out of your chair, grab a blanket, and take a nap in a dumpster for a couple months.

Its become apparent that Mr. pugh (hehehe) seems to think that any opinion differing from his own is wrong, and the person stating the opinion should go away, since each of matts movies are astounding contribution that he considers modern day epics. Of course, i would try to throw as many insults as possible around too if anyone ever made valid comments on my movies resulting in me realizing i could do better..

Ya know it's debates like these with idiots like Bryce that make me check my E-mail 2 times a day with great anticipation.
So where to begin. Hmmm, lets see. Well for starters there is one thing we both have in common both of our favorite films of all time is the matrix. And well I can't help it that you don't like the things I do. And I don't mind contrary comments to what I believe. I only mind when they are being delivered by a fool who hasn't given the community anything.
-I have said this to you countless times now Bryce shut your pie hole untill you get yourself on here with a movie.
- Mr. Pugh?? So you want to show me some type of respect now? No thanks, Matt will do just fine.
-Modern day Epics! LMAO!! That has inspired me to make a new logo to go on all of my upcoming films. "EPIC PUGH FILMS"!!!!! Thanks for the idea Bryce.
PS. Everyone get ready for Creek Studios and EPIC PUGH FILMS!
my new logo will be on the 2nd part to my star wars trilogy.
THE RISE OF THE SITH coming in Late MARCH or EARLY APRIL

What you are saying is, I infact dont make movies simply because they arent on the web? i dont need the web to distribute them, i use DVD. As for the quality/entertainment value of them, they seem to have sold a couple hundred after one was played before a talent show at my school. this was a rather large amount of DVDs to make, so i wasnt able to meet the quota, but this was just one of my parody compilations, not even one of the bigger movies. So calling me and Idiot/fool that should shut his piehole is a pretty ridiculous, since your basically telling me that until i put one of my movies online, they arent any good, and i shouldnt be listened to whatsoever..... real great matt, impressed

Adam took the words out of my mouth Bryce. You saying you got somethin to show for yourself without dishin it out, is like me robbin a store with my finger in my jacket aimed like a gun. NO one REALLY KNOWS if I have a gun or not. So why should they be afraid or even care.
YOU NEED TO SHOW US WHAT YOU GOT.
I don't give a crap if you made a movie on DVD, your school is all that has seen it. So who cares.

Funny - I can have up to 60,000 DVDs in 48 hrs, 10x that in 14 days. Boxed, with printed graphics. If we needed more than that, we'd probably have to look around a little.
Anyone that had paying "sales" would figure that out, just as we had to...
[edited to add:] dvd.diskmakers.com Inquire about their "Small Studio Partner Program" and tell 'em I sent you.
