...Because it's gonna be used with another plugin to do some funny stuff.
That's why.

a basketball most likely wont look TOO good because of the lack of 1) shadows on the ball, and 2) shadows cast by the ball.

+ lighting will make it look poor

Ummm.... heres an idea. take a picture of a basketball, and paint black around it, then make a plugin of it with the black trasparent. the end.

Oh my god joe would you even have done it for him if he wasnt offering force. Force is just a silly number its not some thing you should revolve your life around. I know it may be nice to have force and all but it dosent make you any more of a good person. If you had 100000 force it still wouldnt matter if you werent being helpful. Force makes no difference of how good of a member you are. (disregard my old posts wink )

http://fxhome.com/forums/viewtopic.php?p=89384#89384 - you should read this! Great job Xcession you showed me the light!

Like slick said 4036Douglas, the force is just a clever little scheme thought up by people with too much time *cough*Malone*cough*wink. It's not something you should revolve your life around. Personally if i get force I'm all like "woopy" but if i get negatives, I dont really mind. The force is all around us, it surrounds us, and binds us, but if you wish to get respect then i suggest not asking for force, and doing things for the good of the community, not for the good of one person, and not for the good of yourself.

Yah I agree about force, though all I want is enough to get an Avatar. After that, force isn't worth much.

pooky even if you do have an avatar you will still be the same to everyone on the forum. Dont go and try to get it instead answer the questions you know the answers too if you get force great! If not then you were still helpful and therefor will gain more respect on the forum.

Yah though I had to choose: brand new flashy Pentium 4, 1 gb RAM, 200 GB Hard drive, LCD screen computer (which counted for my B-day and christmas, and I had to give the 100 $ in my allowance) or AlamDV.... though I will get a snow plowing job this winter and will buy it then for sure.

i did NOT just make it for the force. i did it to help him, even though he most likly could have done it himself. i dont live for force. And what about all those tree and soccerball plugins? i doubt those are very helpful plugins, not to mention that "skull spider".
i am depressed now cause of u all. thanks alot guys.

Your welcome and if you arent obsessed with force you should NEVER ask for it. It may very well be the most noobish thing you can do (along with asking for a 3d plugin)

Slick, though you are somewhat of a younger brother to me, that post was sickening.
That seriously was so contradictory to what you do. Even though I wouldnt consider myself a noob, I'm sure plenty do. You have to learn to see things from both points of view, as a noob and as an experienced member. If you want to crush someone for thier posts, at least try not to be so hard on them. Remember, you were once in their shoes. So, if you must shoot noobs down, do it with caring and dignity, because remember, they are just new here and it would be a shame to lose potential members.

Guys guys, relaaaax! Joe (or Douglas as you may know him) was simply helping a user out. He may of jumped the shark a little bit by bringing up the force, but I'm sure that wasn't his only motivation for creating the plugin. And your amount of posts/date joined has nothing to do with your forum maturity as a member. I think some of you do a nice job of proving that wink
