And next time use punctuation such as periods commas semicolons and colons otherwise it becomes one really long and hard to understand sentence so I would have tried to help you if I fully understood what it was that you had trouble with but since it was a very jumbled set of phrases I had no real idea of what it was you wanted thanks bye

Firstly, its blindingly obvious who you are, thats what the author column is for - so a "thanks from x" is uneccessary.
Secondly, TMM meant stretch the effect over several frames, not make the effect "full length" (whatever you mean by that). You put the effect on the film, then take its control point on the timeline and drag it over a few more frames.

Didn't you listen? Tarn's Tuts showed exactly how. But since you are so persistent on not watching them, here's how: Right click on the right blue line of the effect and drag it. It's as easy as that.
As Tarn says: THINK before you post!

Are you using a Mac or a PC?
If you use a PC, right click on the bar in the timeline to lengthen the amount of frames the effect will be. If you use a Mac, hold control and then use your mouse.
Then drag the little star to the right until you reach your new frame lenfth you just made.
