This is a trailer for my upcoming film "Prodition", which is a sequel to my first film "Power of the Sith". The film is finished and should be online in about a month from now. "Prodition" makes heavy use of AlamDV for numerous explosions, light effects, energy weapons, HUDs, engine exhausts, and computer displays. This is really just a sneak peek and doesn't show a whole lot, but the film itself is a special effects orgy. Can't wait to show you guys the finished product, but until then enjoy the trailer.

Hi Uncle smile
Very Impressed with the bluescreen work and the CGI, great stuff.
A couple of downers for me was having a kid in it sad sorry.
And the voice of the ugly guy at the end should have been distorted somehow.

Other than that, I'll watch the full version smile

Sweet dude. Nice greenscreening, and the lighting in the ship with the kid in it is great. Yah it is a lil' dumb that a kids playin' but they also should get a chance. Just like b4uask. said the voice of the sith should be deeper and distorted.

Great work though, dunno why you wrote that it might not be a great movie. Cant wait to see more of it man.

Sweet

Hey guys- long time no post from me, eh? I've been hunkered down for the last 9 months trying to finish the movie.

B4- Yeah, I realize that most people don't really like seeing kids in films and if that kind of stuff ruins it for you then this aint the film for you. It's campy, it's fun, and it's a parody film with kids in it but it's a great way for me to do something fun with my children. It's also a great way for my kids to have fun and also be a part of a Star Wars film. I think you'll be surprised at the finished film though. wink

As for the voice of Darth Zorn- I thought about distorting it but couldn't come up with something I liked so I scrapped the idea.

devilskater- The green and blue keying was done with DV Matte Pro- (awesome plugin for AE by the way) I was hoping chromanator would be done in time for my post work, but alas it was not available at the time. sad

Anyways, I think you guys will like the final film as long as you can get past the fact that the kids are main characters. It's cute and campy and there's no blood in it, but there is some dismemberment so Mecha might like that.

FREAKIN' HILARIOUS!!! I love this film! Who cares if kids play in it. That adds to the hilarity of this family comedy. I have added this to my top 10 favorites list! BRILLIANT STUFF. Can't wait for the full thing.

PEACE OUT

pooky- all 3D stuff was done in Lightwave. I'm still a newbie to the program, but i took to the interface easier than Max or Electric Image. Still need some work in realistic texturing and rendering, but I'm learning.

Look for the finished film beginning of January. Taking some time off during the Holidays.

I can assure you that Uncle Pain's film ROCKS biggrin I worked on sound EFX for the film and also played a lil' bad guy in there called Darth Zorn! Sorry my voice didn't sound low and distorted...I kept tellin' Jeremy that my sith garb was way to tight...urg eek Seriously though, I think Jeremy has outdone himself for sure. The film is fun, excellently paced, and looks and sounds awesome. We're having a public premier on December 12. It'll be really exciting to show it to our family and friends. Plus we're excited that our online friends can view this soon too. So keep looking for "Prodition" soon. It's a good one! BTW...I have to say it was great working with a small but awesome crew that put this thing together.

Umm- that's Creamed Corn. A tasty dish of mashed up corn in a soupy mix. It closely resembles vomit in taste, smell, and texture, yet finds itself on the dinner table of most homes in the Mid-West United States.

Nice looking effects and costumes. Good production values. For one second I thought it was supposed to be deadly serious but it had me chuckling at the end. Prodition eh? nice word.
