For those of you who saw the Dark Soldier Wizard Battle, this is the "trailer" for the full length movie that the Wizard Battle scene is a part of.

thats pretty cool. How many people are working on this film? I like the little tent village and the fire burning thing. That looks nice. If you did some color correction, that would have looked 50 times better though. And the titles looked like some cheapo program. If you took the time, and used some just white on black titles, and used some AlamDV effects with the titles, it would have looked a world of better....of course, non copyrighted music is better too...but thats no biggie.

Just work on a few things, and that will look much better...

hmmm.....a 3

Yeah, this looks like it has potential. Reminds me of some of those old classic 80s movies with a bunch of kids going off on some big adventure. Looks like quite a lot of effort has gone into this, what with the costumes, the little tent village and locations. The effects also looked quite imaginative, although some of them could definitely do with some more work.

With a bit more polish, the final thing could be really good fun! Looking forward to it.

I realy liked that. I liked the effects although they could have been slighly better, but the pace of the movie and the cuts were great. The only thing that i dont like about the upcoming full lenght movie is that it is going the have the dark soldiers wizard battle... 4 stars here

Oh, one thing I forgot to mention - the dark soldier costumes would be even better if you graded their faces so it was completely dark, rather than the piece of fabric. Be very spooky and Ringwraithy then...

I just knew that song was comming, its used everywhere right now, like the matrix theme was back a while. looks pretty good, you should work some on your titles, but otherwize its nice to see that you've layed some work on coustumes and finding good locations and not shooting it in your backyard, good luck with your movie.

I really liked the trailer, a lot of effort went into it. The credits could look a little more professional but otherwise it's all good. Nice editing and timing, well paced. Congratulations!

However, if I hear that "Requiem for an alamdv movie" song ONE MORE TIME.... !!!

lol just kidding but I agree about Lux Aeterna being overused.

I normally see kids with guns or light sabres running around so this made a nice change.
I'd be interested to know how old the guy that made this is, you seemed to have done well ( from what i saw on the trailer ) of keeping the young actors serious whilst on screen.
I noticed my plugin there and used very well i thought.
Not too sure what to rate this, my heart says 4 ( i can't give 5 as it's only a trailer and 5 would be for the full film ) but my brain says there was not enough different things in there to justify a 4. sad
Please take the 3 as a very high 3

Thanks for your comments, we appreciate them.

My bro and I started filming the scenes for our movie when we were 11 and 13.
We finished filming the full length movie recently and we are now 12 and 14.
We still have lots of work to do but it's been a fun experience.
We did 99% of the filming ourselves with our neighbor, who is the same age.

It may be another whole year before we get all the editing done for our full length movie.

We were glad we were able to use your Ringwraith Side shot.

Thanks
