The Stills and Movies sections are calling your name!

If you have an amateur movie that isn't quite getting the hits you wanted, if it uses ALAMDV effect; we will post it (or part of it at least) on our site in the Movies section!

Even if the movie is huge (we are limiting to 5MB max) you can still send in as many screen captures as you want for the Stills section.

Codec3 has already graced the two pages with his presence in supplying a movie and some stills. If you aren't sure whats appropriate, just head to thoses sections now

Sweet! I have a muisic video in production right now that uses After Effects. I'm planning on adding some AlamDV shots in there also. It's going to be pretty sweet so I'll get some screen shots going to spark interest.

Hoo Now...I'm gonna be sending in stills/a clip next week to review, the render is occuring on my G4 right now. Bummed, though 'cause I'm off to SanteFe for my birthday tomorrow and I won't be able to get it into ALAMDV, but I'm gonna do everything I can, too, to help make this one awesome applications. I've seen poorer fX produced on big budget flics, and I can't wait to shoot something soon, Instead of waiting for my Mac while it crunches frames.
I wanna overlay the ALAMDV logo on all the work I submit from here out, is that cool?
Good job on the new site...

Thanks you.
You guys are looking good, the site is in great shape...next week the new ALAMDV relase and I will really get to know each other and become very good friends...I'm gonna do some really cool stuff with it.

Everyone is amazed at what it does, unfortunately, no one I've showed my clips to around here can do any kind of motion work, so they really don't appreciate the effort, but all in all, the response has been startling.
I have the guy...Lucas...at http://www.interfacelift.com offering me a place to post my stuff, too, so I know he likes it and he has a slick site.
I'm trying to get the word out.

Lemme know if you need any 2nd opinons on marketing strategy, I've been doing it for a long long time.
Good job on everything you're doing.
I like.
cheers

Have you tried getting in touch with any of the magazines that feature cover discs. Such as 3d World, PC Format etc, If you got your demo on the disc I'm sure it would generate a lot of interest.

I believe Josh has already sent out emails to magazines from all corners of the globe. (If he hasn't, I'll kill him!)

We have already received responses from loads of people, its just a case of generating enough interest to get the magazines to pick up the story

You might also want to contact Macromedia. Because unless I miss my guess (and if i do, i'm glad I'm anonymous!) you did this all in Director.

As far as I know, no one has ever tried something like this with Director, they might be interested in it.

Dang this program rocks. You guys are my GODS!

Hope you did not do it in Director...part of the license is that you use their made with Macromedia logos and stuff when you publish...

Check the credits page - Made with Macromedia is there.

The program is partly written in Director so that it was easily cross platform.

Hi
touche!
the "about" does indeed have the logo...I need to be a bit more cautious before I post.
