There wasnt any school here today either. Nebraska that is. We got about 2 inches of ice and 10 inches of snow. And the beauty is, it is still snowing and we probrobly wont have it tomorrow either.

Here in NY they expected soo much snow, but they were wrong. Now they say 6-12 inches of snow tomorrow night or tonight or something. A few years ago they were predicting this huge snowstorm so my school cancelled and it didnt snow. Just rained a little.

We got some ice yesterday, but still had school today. But now it's snowing really hard, and we're really hoping for a snow day tomorrow. I wouldn't really mind missing three challenge classes (out of four periods) and a history test.

Ahh, you have finals exemption? We have it too, it's really nice, but we took finals back in December.

Yeah... here in Georgia its a big thing to get iced or snowed out of school.
The county freaks when theres a little glazing on the trees and shuts everything down.
Schools were down, they let people out of work early, they closed a major highway going into Atlanta.
All this over about, eh, 1/4 inch of ice on some trees.

Both of us are from NC... Down here it's still all icy, i tried to walk along the roads and could barely stand up. Unfortunatly though, it's going to get warmer today, so there's a good chance of school tomorrow. Guess i better get working on that homework.

It's great, we got school cancelled today, but our district stinks, they don't cancel school until like 6am, so I had to go to bed early and wake up early before I found out.

arrgh that makes me jealous i mean we have had like 9 inches of snow and we dont even consider closing school
We had an inversion latly that means its colder down at the bottom of the valley than in the mountains and it trapps all the polution in the valley. I mean there was so much smog that i couldn;t even see down the road and they still makie us go to school
hey at least i dont have school on friday ( teacher comp day)

Man,
I wish I could even see 12 inches of snow down here.
The last time I saw a big snow storm was in 1993 when that HUGE front was settled on the eastern US. The blizzard of '93 we called it. From what you guys are talking about its a regular snow day to you.

Yeah Douglas. I'm rendering mine too...

...sort of.
Mine involves some rotoscoping so I'm kind of rendering as I go. The whole video is just a little dinky 30 second video testing saber making techniques. I made one saber with photoshop, and the other with AlamDV, kind of as a tester to see which outcome I liked better and decide how I want to use both programs in the upcoming film I'm working on.
