As we all know, the Super Bowl is on this sunday. This year, Carolina Vs. New England (of course the two teams who I didnt want in wink . Take this topic to say your thoughts on the teams and what you think the outcomes will be. Comment on commercials and what youll be doing Sunday. Personally, I am having a Super Bowl party with my friends. I want Carolina to win because being a Jet fan, I dislike New England. I wanted Peyton Manning and the Colts to be in it vs the Philidelphia Eagles, but oh well. What do you guys think?

Gotta be the Panthers. I hate the Patriots and the Colts (I'm a Chiefs fan...grr) and the Panthers have never made it to the Super Bowl, so it would be cool to see them win. Besides that, NE is not playing in the cold, so that might be acutally a disadvantage for them, as they're so used to kicking everyone's butt up in the cold.

Oh, and I'm going to a Super Bowl party with my youth group. We will probably be watching the game on an 82 inch TV!

Yeah I wanted Colts vs Eagles but now I guess I'll be backing the Panthers because the Patriots suck.

I was rooting for the Jets this year also as I like to support an underdog. Last year I was following Tampa from the start but you can't always pick the champions. I didn't fancy them this year but I didn't expect them to do quite so badly, I guess thats what happens when you have ego overload.

I like playin football and stuff but watching a game ain't one of my favorite things to do. Of course i'll watch games but i'm not that big of a fan as most people.
So anyway its second quarter already and the score is still 0-0. I really don't know either of the teams very well so i could care less who wins. But a lot of my friends are rooting for north carolina. So...
GO PANTHERS!!!
oh and the commercials are really fun to watch.

Our first Super Bowl...tsk...tsk...anyway, the Patriots won because of a kick...wow. It wasn't like some glorious play of wonder - running down the field all the way while doing backflips..heh.

Oh well..thank goodness I dont like sports biggrin

I think it was intentional, considderring the "naughty bit" was still covered.

Quite frankly, I think MTV is retarded.

CBS has stated that they won't let MTV do the halftime show any more in the future. I'm wondering why they even let them do it in the first place. I think I smell a lawsuit coming...

The fact that CBS really thinks that they have a say when it comes to who is in there half time show is really funny...CBS and MTV are both owned by Viacomm so what ever they say goes.

Canta unsure

The thing that casues the controversy about if it was planned or not was that the last line was better get you naked by the end of this song. Coincidence? If anyone wants to see it just pm me.

On the news here they say it was planned. They said that MTV had hinted in the afternoon that the half time show would be one for the record books. Last Wednesday, Miss Jackson reportedly told a bunch of kids at a school that there would be a "shocking" event at her SuperBowl event. There's pop-up rivets on her suit and Timberlake knew what he was doing went he pulled it... And yeah, her nipple was covered... Some kind of jewel thingie.

So it was planned.

Why would she "hide" her nipple if they didn't already knew this would happen. This is great promo for Janet. They are saying it's an accident because of the outrage. And look at the outfit: made to look like there's a bra under the black thing, yet, there's convenient pop-up rivets. If it was a typical corsage, she wouldn't have to wear the "cups" separately... They were annoucning it before the fact - as also confirmed in you drudge report link I just read...

Smells really fishy if you ask me.

She didn't hide her nipple, it was a fancy nipple ring she was wearing. If you watch the clip its very obviously planned, however I don't think they would come out and admit that because there would be lawsuits flying about.

You mention that CBS and MTV have no say and that its down to Viacom but in fact its down to the NFL. They control their coverage and image very strictly and it goes right against their family friendly policy.

Notice the "hide" in quotation marks.

Yup, lawsuits WILL be flying anyways...

Amazing promo for all involved though...
