Here is the first music video I ever made. Thanks to Chromanator I was able to get the very horrible green screen under control plus the masking feature was God sent. Hope you enjoy it.

The music video was very slow. Not enough cuts, and you had one shot where the camera was locked in the same position for about 45 seconds. It got kinda boring visually during that part.

as a side note: the music and greenscreening wasn't that great either.

However- not bad considering it's your first music video.

Hey StarX, your opinion seems to be right along the lines of everyone elses and I honestly agree. This was actually my frist production outside of family movies and let's just say I learned alot. I had a lot of footage which needed to be thrown out due to the poor performnce of the alleged dancing girls. As far as the green screen goes, once again, it is due to the poor footage and it would have been totally unusable without thre Chromanator. Thanks for your comments.

I thought the girls were the best part of the video.. and the one in the red skirt really knew what she was doing. The camera needs to be a lot more mobile though. Most music videos don't hold a shot longer than 9 seconds, especially in hip hop.. I liked the fast zoom effect you did in the beginning, but more of those would have been nice. Remember you can always use fake zooms in post if you have no cameraman. The song itself is very good, but as performers you should move more than your arms or don't move much at all. On a brighter note, I found the greenscreening fairly well done -just a little too obvious where you applied the effect itself.

Next time you should try to get a little more than 3 shots into the video.

Thanks guys, I need all the comments you can send my way since I am learning. Mecha, I had more shots but they were ruined by the poor acting of the alleged "model" dancers, so to prevent anyone from grosing out and swearing off to a life of celibacy, I decided to make the cuts.

I'm sorry, I thought is was really bad. Maybe because I'm not into the rap, and stupid (sex sells), women that sell their figure to crude men. Just so they can get noticed. Do something worth while, instead of watching half dressed women, and pimped out men dancer very volgar like.

If they were your friends, you are in the wrong crowd dude, pick a different group. All they are focused on are pimping, their figure, and sexual crap.

Film a music video to another 'clean' less un-family friendly band okay?

I would like to see something different from you. You have a good talent, just use it in a better setting.

i just assumed they were genies....

the girls were hot, but I didn't like the music(the only rap I like is the roots). Anyway, the bluescreen infront of the jeepozeen was really really fake..... the jeepozeen was allot bigger than it should have been. just what i thought

FiveIronFrenzy, the video was strictly for practice so if I was shooting strictly what I want to shoot you would see my interpretation of either Blues or Trance, however, as a business minded person if I am to learn this craft I have to deal with all kinds of people, groups, and situation. The white guy in the video is actually pretty involved in his career and is not your typical pothead. I was surprised myself that a lot of the people who perform rap are actually pretty normal which is very differant than some punk kid trying to be a rapper on a bus stop. If it makes you feel a little happier I usually hang around with more mellow, computer geek kind of people. smile

Bowie, I guess the guy was holding himself for one or both of the below listed reasons:
a. he neede to pee
b. it was part of the act

BTW, +1 for all of you for your opinions.

Waser, the green screen was so bad that you don't even wanna go there. You should have seen some of the attempts before the Chromanator. As I mentioned in one of my previous posts, I have learned A LOT from this shoot.
