Okay, I just got this really new, nice computer. I have to give my old one to my little brother. So, what of Alamdv? I know that you can't have it on two computers unless you bought two serials. But, what if I deleted it COMPLETLY from my old computer and installed it onto my new one. Would I have to buy it again? And how would this work with the ADV3 switch?

Please don't answer if you don't know.

Thank you.

I don't think you would have to buy it again if you completly deleted it. And as long as you bought alamdv2 after jan 1st 03 you should get alamdv3 free.

Read your liscense agreement. It states that AlamDV can only be registered with that Serial # on one computer at a time. If you uninstall it from the old one and download AlamDV onto the new computer, the serial will work, because you're not trying to use multiple instances of the program on multiple computers with the same serial.

Legal documents do have a habit of being written in a strange language understood only by lawyers. razz

But as nitro said, if you delete it from your old one and transfer the whole thing across so it is just installed on a single computer, that'll be fine.
