Heck, 15 mb for a 7 minute movie is near perfect compression. I recall that you downloaded the BAMBI trailer, which is 7.5 mb and only 2 minutes long. This shouldn't be bad at all (unless you're on dial-up, but there's nothing he can do about that).

EDIT: Okay, the movie is only 4 minutes, but that's still decent compression.

Anyway, about the movie, it was decent too. I liked the editing at the beginning. The fighting was decent, but there were no sound effects, and it seemed like you guys stopped in the middle a few times. Also, I found it hard to follow what was going on, because it was never clear who was who (as there were so many clones). There was a bit of shakey camera work and focus problems, but that shouldn't be too hard to correct in the future.

The guy with the high voice was a good idea, but it didn't really come across well. I had no idea why these people were fighting, so it made no sense to me. I guess I'm rambling a bit. Yeah, and the action scenes in the basement were edited well, and they flowed together. Two stars from me. Next time, just get more actors! smile

THat was pretty confusing, and weird to tell you the truth. The editing cuts were very slow and fairly poor. A gun would shoot, and it would take a few seconds for a bullet to hit a guy. Someone would fall, then it would cut to another take from the top of the fall. I gave it a 2, because of some good parts, but a lot of room to improve.

its not compression that matters, my computer has taken hours to download a 15 minute long movie while taking about 30 minutes to download a movie the same size but maybe 3 minutes in length (I know it makes no sense but not everything about computers does)

The different downloading speeds is not due to the video length, but the server. And there's nothing you can do about a slow server.

ok, Im starting to see the makings of a whole new genre on FXhome I'll entitle it "what the heck" or what-eck for short and some of the films that fit in there are "Small Fighters" "Sam the Spy part II" and "Spies of a Feather" none of which I can figure out. The definition of a what-eck movie is - a bunch of people running around fighting and you dont know why, you cant tell who is the bad guy or the good guy and you dont know know enough to choose which character you like more. What-eck movies focus on cool (and usually entertaining) fighting scenes, and usually have a plot, however what really makes a what-eck movie is the lack of focusing on the plot and this is were they get there trademark of cool fight scenes that really dont tie into each other (since they dont focus on plot the secquences are all out of place and dont flow) they really dont fit into any other genre so I've made my own. biggrin

you know that all the movies I mentioned have come out in the past two weeks biggrin and what I mean is that all three seam to have had a plot in mind when they were made but the audience cant really tell what it was. This is fine, but thats what makes it all in its own genre.
