I'm normally a PC guy but I just bought a mac running OS X. It has OS 9 classic mode and I think you have to install it but I don't know how to, so can someone please explain to me how to get it running so that I can install alam?
When I click on the alamdv2 installer a box opens and says, "There is no volume with a system folder that supports starting classic".
Like i said, "I'm new to macs so I don't really know my way around," any help would be greatly appreciated.

You can't install AlamDV2 under classic, just normal OS9 - if you Mac is new then you probably can't boot in to OS9 hence we recommend all Mac users wait for AlamDV3.

ooooookay.... That cleared up a mess of confusion. All-righty then, one more question and I'll be ready. I've had alamdv2 for...one, or two years or whatever. I know I'm not eligible for the free upgrade to dv3 so is there an "upgrade" price somewhere for long-time alamdv2 owners? Or do I have to shell out the full $93.98 to get up and runnin'?

All AlamDV2 users will get the option to upgrade for a reduced rate. Think its about £19.99 or something
