Whenever i am using alam and i click cancel effect because i realize i don't want to use it, alam always cancels not only that but it cancels all the work i did on some other effects from that point on... For example: I was doing a scene with a lightsaber effect and then i was experimenting with different blood effects. i decided i didn't want to use some of the effects and i clicked cancel. Now the lightsaber effect i used earlier was oay until the frame i told the other effect to cancel. From that point on, it just stayed in the same place after i spent a good ten fifteen minutes animating it. Can some one please help me or give me some tips? They would be much appreciated... Thanks...

Make sure that when you hit cancel, only the plugin you want to cancel is selected. I'm not sure if this is effecting anything or not, but it doesn't hurt to try it. Otherwise, I would suggest saving your work after keyframing an effect, so if this happens, your work will be backed up.

If this continues to be a problem, rather than cancelling an effect, hit return to confirm it, then delete it.
