Why can't a compnay make a cheap little plastic full size gun that is so poorly made that a skinny little white boy like me can sit on it and break it. it just has to look real. it could be made out of bubble gum for all I care, just make it cheap and real looking.

I am glad this was brought up. I have found a wholesale place with good looking airsoft guns. I got a few to test and was thinking of selling them to film makers cheap. The problem is since it is wholesale, I need a giant order and didn't know what kind of demand I would find. I am talking between $5 and $8 for handguns, around $10 for a Full size AK Spetsnaz, around $10 for a Sig SG551 rifle, and $10-$15 for a shotgun that includes a small hand gun. If anyone shows interest I will post a video of all the guns to show the size and look of each. Other guns will also become available I have been told. The demand just has to be here.

Me too, if my parents would let me...

But you'd probably have to set up some kind of online store with PayPal or something. Or you could always sell them on Ebay. smile

Another idea: Visit a police supply store and but a plastic "training gun" There are handguns, full size and detail and are red or blue. Just use some black rubberizer spray paint and it looks real.

Can you buy those if you're a kid, or do you need an adult with you?

Here are some pictures for you of what I can get and have tested myself. I will be getting an mp5, another handgun, and another sci-fi looking gun.

There is another company called Paris that is located in Pennsylvania, they make toy guns and my friend orderd some of their stuff, they are pretty good and are really cheap. I havnt been able to find their website though (granted that I havnt really put a lot of effort into it though since I have access to their catalogue biggrin )

Did anyone here check the site www.realistictoyguns.com that i reccomended? pretty much, if you look through the whole site, its got everything you were just asking for very very cheap, but you would just need to spraypaint over the stuff...

We have ordered from realistictoyguns.com and the stuff is pretty good, granted, they need to be repainted. There are two other airsoft sites that we personally have ordered from and they are both great places. The URL's are:

www.airsplat.com
&
www.airsoftatlanta.com

They both frequently have sales and bargains so keep checking them.
We ordered the tommy gun from airsplat and it is very nice!
We have probably ordered about 20 guns over the past few months for our upcoming film, due to be shot in the Spring and we have been pretty happy with them. The most realistic would probably have to go to the Tommy gun and the black beretta that comes w/ a free silencer at airsoft atlanta.
Hope this helps someone out. smile

Thanx bounty, if I could rate posts I would give you a +1 biggrin
You can actually make some pretty good guns from scrap wood and some metal tubes. We made a machine gun this way (Id show pictures but my digital camera broke sad ) but I think most of you can figure it out anyway biggrin

they have some really good deals on realistictoyguns.com

they sell defective guns 5 for $5. most of them have a broken trigger or noisemaker. this isnt a problem, since all gun sound effects will be added in post. personally, i think having a noisemaker on a toy gun more of a burden, because the audio isnt usable for the final product.
