Hi, I've noticed that all the Alamdv plugins of the Lightswords have a square tip, and it isn't round at the end.

I was wondering if someone could make one.

I know that the square ended ones have an advantage for swings and such. But it would be handy for when the actor is talking and you get to see the lightsword for several minutes!

But I'm very sure that it will be a plugin that will be appreciated, not only by just myself. biggrin

Thanks...

WEll if you make some of the alamdv sabers in alamdv 1 mode, you click the bottom of the hilt, then the top and the top gets rounded. Also, blurring the sabers when you export your footage makes em rounded.

The ALAMDV1 lightsword plugins have a curved tip variation included.

Most of the lightsword plug-ins available have one end rounded. I've created at least 8 lightsword plug-ins myself, all of which have a rounded end. Which plug-in are you working with that is giving you the problem?

Axeman is right, most of the lightsword plug-ins available have one end rounded. Even if your using the alamdv1 lightsword plugin there is a straight lightsword and with it is a curved one. Have a look around at some of the other lightsword plugins you should find what your looking for.

Aaaah! So that is why the ones that are called "curved" are a lightsword that has the round end tip! Not that the sword is actually curved like a chinese sword. redface

Thanks for the info!

I understand know,

Thanks!

Oh, by the way what setting do I choose, using Plugger to make an effect have that setting that allows you to make it turn invisible? just like the skyhopper? Is it in with the settings of like "Black Transperent, lightest, darkest... etc "

If it is could you tell me what the name is please?

Make sure the images intended have true alpha channels. In the plugger choose the "overlay ink" option. This should give you the transparency slider if you image(s) have a working Alpha channel.

There is also some more advanced Plugger info in the AlamDV2 manual. It has a whole section on the Plugger which covers pretty much all of the more advanced features.
