This movie was made on a snow day. We were off from school and had nothing to do...so this is the result of a few hours of boredom. Its based on a drugdeal gone wrong with a little twist. Please keep in mind this was just a fun movie to make, and really isn't meant to be your serious drug deal movie. You'll ether love or hate this one.

Yo the movie was cool certain things were a little sketchy like why did the guy deliver the drugs in a pizza box.. but the overall action parts were pretty cool

Its done, but the file is HUGE. About 11 gigs. I have compressed it down to 1.9 gigs which is still to big to post on the site, and the quality isn't that good. So I really don't know what else to do with career in crime. But yes its done and about 54 minutes long.

Yes, I think segments would be a very good plan. 2 or 3. I'm downloading this now. Will watch sooon.

EDIT: Ok, I didn't like this. Not because of the effects, but because of the lack of sensible plot. It looked like you were at least trying, but I found some things ridiculous. For instance:

The use of subtitles, because the music was louder than the dialogue. Bad move.

The fact that, after the "pizza guy" blows up the bomb, some guy comes running out and starts firing a machine gun blindly, when there was no way he could have known where the "pizza guy" was, since he just ran out from behind a house.

The fact that, after being shot at very close range with a shotgun in the stomach, the one guy is just standing there, with time enough to feel his wound. He would have been against the wall, or on the ground anyway.

These things were enough for it to be no good for me.

When the guy puts his coat on in the beginning, when he says, "I'll take care of it, guys." or whatever, it looked like he was paused waiting to hear "action" to say his line/put on his coat.

I hope career in crime is WAY better than this.

aculag your right on every thing you've said. i've noticed this as well, even when we were filming. but again, this wasn't even remotley considered to us as a project. To be honest we filmed this in a little under an hour. I guess the effort we put into this is obvious, but i guess fun little movies like this don't matter much. we are planning another movie, however aren't totally convinced we should, since were having problems compressing our large movies down to suitable size for this site. and one last thing, you mentioned that after the bomb went off a thug comes out shooting blindly, thats exactly why the thug was shooting blindly, because he wasn't totally aware of the pizza guy's location.

This wasnt high on my list of cool movies..its seemed that everyone was waiting for the "action" to do there stuff. It might have helped to cut it closer together. I thought the guy with the machine gun jumping out from the house was hilarious. that next movie would be interesting to see how you managed to fill 54 min. (im counting on it being far better than this..)

I will be posting Career in Crime shortly. However i don't expect people to download it, for it will be 340 mb large. I'm really only posting it for my friends to download, however everyone is more than welcome to if they don't care.

I thought this short film was pritty funny. If you looked past some of the bad things in it you could see it was funny. The music also went well where did you get the music from? The only thing i didnt like to much was the subtitles but it worked out fine in the longshot. O i also wanna see Career in Crime the trailer wasnt all that good but im interested in seeing the full length version.
