We've released a new version of the Chromanator installer today due to a problem with the pre-release version that will cause it to expire on April 1st. Simply re-install Chromanator using the new installer to fix this issue.

The new installer can be downloaded from the downloads page here:

http://fxhome.com/chromanator/downloads.html

Please note that the demo will be offline for a few days until the final version of Chromanator is released. We apologise for any inconvenience this may have caused.

Chromanator Final Release news
The good news is that the final release of Chromanator will be arriving in a few days, packed full of exciting new features, improvements and bug fixes. Keep an eye on the news page so you don't miss out on all the new features!

You will have problems tomorrow smile

I set the wrong expiry date which means it expires tonight, the final version will be with you in the next few days so its really unlucky really. We stuck up the new installers for people who just can't live without Chromanator.

ChromanatorPR2 will stop working tomorrow (this is the version you have). We have uploaded a new version of ChromanatorPR2 which will work. So to continue to use Chromanator you have 3 choices;

1) Download the new installer.

or

2) Set your system time backwards to a date before April 1st.

or

3) Wait a few days until we release ChromanatorFINAL, and download that.

This applies to both the demo and full version.

Will the final version have a upgrade tickler? Since the license agreement says I have to upgrade every 4 months or I can't use the software, I need to know if I need to create a reminder appointment or if the software will do it for me.

(p.s. thats going to keep you guys busy)

great! Thanks so much for the interim installer.
I needed to do some compositing tonight and it was
critical that i had chromanator up and running.
the update worked flawlessly and quickly, got me up and running again in 4 minutes.
thanks again, cant wait for full version, other than a long render time im liking it so far.

Regarding the problem with downloading the windows installer, don't worry it was my fault, I was using my original login details from 2001, which I forgot I had, and when I purchased and registered AlamDV2 and Chromy I used a newly created login.

Oops - redface

Just wondering if it is possible when adding a clip to the timeline if the audio from the clip can be added as well.

i dont think so... Chromanator is a visual program. You can add your sound to your exported clip with another editor. The manual says something about a possibility of a sound feature in a later version of Chromanator...
