I know there are a few blood plug-ins out there, but they seem to be more for bullet hits or splashes going towards the lens.

Could some one be kind enough to make a plug-in of a splash of blood hitting a wall - the main difference from those hitting the camera is that it would stay in focus and splatter across a much larger surface.

Thanks!

I'd really really recommend doing it live...

Thanks, notroviper, but we had a bit of a problem with our low-budget SFX prop ... I'm just trying to fix a shot that didn't come out like it was supposed to.

Maybe some of those folks who made the other blood plug-ins could give me a hand?

Thanks!

A piece of advice....don't use a plug-in for blood. it ALWAYS looks fake. do it for realz. do a google search and find out how to make blood.

OK, thanks for the advice. I thought I could get away with it for a really short shot. But I'll try and blue-screen it (since we already have the background plate).

Thanks!

I would also suggest just refilming that shot.

Didn't Sollthar use CG squibs in the Nightcast prologue? They looked pretty good.

Thanks, Tarn. Yes, they did look good but not quite the effect I was looking for.

Thanks for your thoughts, folks.
