This is my first „bigger“ video.
I made it with my friend Benjamin, he is also an absolute
action and martial arts freak The quality is not amazing
because i used an digital camera. But for me, the result looks
not that bad smile Primary i see this movie as an test movie, to see
what i can do with my equipment. I hope you enjoy it!
And please let me know what you think about it.

I'm downloading this at the moment, will post later. I just have to say that 43.6mb is overkill for a 3 minute short. Especially for WMV format. You should be able to compress it much more with WMV.

EDIT: I don't really get what the plot was, but whatever. The effects were alright, but I didn't like how you had sound effects in some places, and in other places there were none. It was too quiet, and not realistic in those times. And the fight noises sounded like they were from a video game.

That's a quicktime file though. You should be able to get at least half that with WMV. My movie, The Low, Down Of It is 10 minutes. The small version of that is 10mb smaller than this... Heh. Don't worry, It's all good.

To me, the first minute wasnt needed. The credits were like a fulltrailer, as everything we saw happened in the movie. Also, the footstep sound effects werent good. I don't see why you didn't use the natural sound or at least record new steps.

but I have to say the action was pretty decent, this is some of the best blood I have seen come out of alam DV. also the ending battle was a little repititive (sic?) because of the sound effects, but I found that scene to be kind of funny.

I have to agree with waser here. The first minute I was thinking it was a trailer, although it was cool. I didnt get the plot, but the way it was set up looked good. I liked it.

I mean a digital Camera is not a Camcorder. A digital camera makes photos and you can make films but only 3 minutes.

I agree with others, the first minute was out of place, even though it did look cool. As far as the movie goes, the effects were okay, the editing was decent, but the camera angles were picked well. Also, the fighting was good, even though the editing during the fight sequence was a bit choppy. Also, good job on the sound effects, as I'm guessing the camera you used didn't record sound.

This movie is a big improvment over your previous submissions. I look forward to your movies in the future. smile

I agree.

It was ok, I don't really understand it. The sounds were a little weird. "HEY! You're dead!" I loved that.
The intro (like everyone is saying) was like a preview on its on. I did like how you did the effects, and the lettering, that was rad.

Keep at it,
storylines are very important, without them, every video on this site is the same.

What is so bad about my movie?

I think the acting was good, especially Benjamins(The Hero of this Movie)
acting was well done for his first longer video. I cant see any lengths in it, and it isnt boring for a second. Yes, i know, there is no story, but seemed it anyway better if i descriped it as "Agent infiltrates a house that was captured by a group of terrorists"? I said it is a testfilm, primary we wanted to see how we did our job as actors. And for my point, it looks like we really have talent (instead, i know, we dont talk much in the movie).

It doesnt exist a scene where our acting is not authentic or looked strange.

Then, please, explain? Why is it rated so bad?

Whoa calm down. It's not because you think your movie rules that it does.

Of course he could have said WHY he didn't like it....
