i've never seem force-pulls done quite like that before. Worked really rather well.

However this didn't stop me finding your movie rather funny razz Theres something highly amusing about the juxtaposition of high-drama music, with two people attacking eachother in a kind of slapping-fight kind of way! It was akin to two kids running towards eachother helicoptering their arms biggrin

I'm talking quality, not quantity of clashes - hitting your swords together 50 times using the same move, all in the space of a nanosecond, does not an impressive fight-scene make. I'd suggest spending a bit more time planning real 'moves'.

^What Xcession said. Plus maybe turning your glows on the lightswords down a tad. But I can say I have seen much worse, so god job overall.

That was really good except I think the backroung should be of a darker sort and the lightsabers should swing more. Other than that it was very entertaining smile .

the force pulls were kind of cool, but the actaul fights and moves to me werent all that impressive. I was happy to see the Darth Vader theme in a duel video for a change

why did you vote on your own movie?

That seems pretty conceited to me.

Scusatemi, ho provato pensando che non avrebbe preso il mio voto.

The fractured light saber falling to the ground was well done. The splitting of the wooden pole was good. Some of the push-ins and zooms were more unsteady than they needed to be. You obviously have physical fighting talent, but as others have pointed out, you need to tighten up your choreography a bit to make it more believable. The force pull effect was nice. All-in-all I can tell you guys have worked hard on this and that you have some good ideas. As with all of our projects, the devil is in the details. Well done. I look forward to more of your videos.

Grazie!

Thank you!
…Glad to see another Italian here.
The martial art the two guys are practising is called JKD (Jeet Kune Doo). The film doesn’t show any particolar style, though. It’s an impromptu fighting. All the work was done in a rush in just three hours time.
We look at it just as an early test.

I couldn’t figure out why this movie got into the top ten. To me it just didn't seem worthy enough. But then I noticed that you rated your own video. Do a lot of people do that on this site?
Doesn't that make you feel like you got on there by 'cheating' its not a 'pure' score, its been tainted by a cheater.

sad People that rate their own videos 4 or 5's...(sighs) What crap.

two sith... having a fight... with lightsabres... never thought I would see that on an the FXHome cinema.. wow.. you must have gone on a long mental journey to find a story such as this smile..

On the positive side.. the Sabre effects seem well done, nothing was too many pixels out of place.. you at least had costumes, which is a plus, dont see George Lucas having too many Jedi in Hawaiian shirts, Bermuda shorts and trainers (sneakers)..

On the negative side The martial art thing may have been well done, i couldnt really tell, the camera was way too shaky with too many zooms and pushes, and anyway, i was rolling around at the "watch me spin my stick around as fast as possible, then strike a pose" bit... One of these days, some jedi is going to face Indiana jones... pose..pose..pose.. BANG !!!

and to finish on a positive note...
The End titles were excellent, how did you do those ?

Ok, it may not be the single most original fan movie ever, but the duel is very well done and has an exciting fast pace.
Non to mention the effects, which are gorgeous.
And I agree: I've seen much worse in the top ten.

pretty good...but the fighting was a little low budget if you know what i mean. The Force Choke and bringing the poles to them was well done though!
