Thanks. I used iMovie with slick plugins to do the opening "a MAFIA film" credit using three different types of effects/transitions. I can't remember them all cause I did it a long time ago. None of them were the stock effects that iMovie comes with though - all from slick.

definitely very cool. made me want to watch all the rest of your martial arts movies!
at about the 50 second mark, you show the tail end of someone doing a jump inward crescent off the wall, and I kept thinkin', "man, I wish I could have seen all of that!"
do you have any of your other stuff online? if not I think you should put some more up. alamdv effects or not.
if you need space, I have almost a gig of space you could use to host.
lemme know if you're interested.

Much of the martial arts stuff is done by CX3 and his crazy crew up at OSU. Some of it is taken from previous works that we both did together during the past 3 years. I made the trailer using some of the TEST SHOOT FOOTAGE from his TV series X3i - which is soon to be released. I gotta say - with those stunts being merely test footage, I'm psyched to see what the real thing is gonna be. I'm sure he'll post the episodes once they're completed. Keep an eye out for them and thanks for the comments.

i usually dont give compilations like this over a 3, but this was so damn cool, i have to break the rule.
and I agree, if that stuff is only test footage for CX3's show, I really really really really want to see what was put in.

Editing exercise? Looks like you don’t need the exercise. Phenomenal editing! Music was awesome, good action, great camera angles, good pace, sounds was very good and right on time. I do realize it was compiled from some of your older footage; however, overall FEEL was EXCELLENT! It moved me. I said before and I will say it again—you all got skills.
Mafia & Cobra well done.
Please, tell me what MUSIC did you use and what sounds effect did you use (like the roaring sound and the whoosh sound)? Was it from a movie or a website?
Thanks in advance

Hi Guys, nice little peice there. Have been watching most of your work and have always enjoyed what I have seen. I did have a movie on here but my website went down and alas so did the movie. I won the London Sci-Fi Film Festival in Feb 2003 with a short called "catching Siren". BUT the only thing I have ever wanted to do with all this great equipment I have my hands in is that damn motion effect you do when the guy is walking through the corridor and hits the side of the walls. How do you do that? Or do you know the indusrty name for this effect?
I would like to stay in contact with you guys...maybe even come up there some time...or forward some of my scripts to you I am working on now. And hey, not only can a film but also get myself a tan...WHICH I definately need.
Anyway, chat soon, Stuartfirstname.lastname@example.org@mail.com

The motion effect is called either earthquake or shockwave in the imovie plugin packs u can buy. I think there might be some final cut plugins u can buy that do the same thing and are called a similar name. I like reading scripts - if u want to send them to us feel free. We have a lot on our plates already with our own films so I don't know how much we'd be able to help u - other than to give u notes on the scripts but good luck to you. Congrats on winning the London Sci-Fi film fest.

If you give me your address I shall send you a showreel of my work. It will be on PAL VHS so hopefully you can find a player out there to see it. I am very impressed with the actual stunts that you do and the locations you find for some of your scenes. take a look at some of my work, I honestly feel that we could some collaboration. At least check the work out before you decide...nothing to lose huh?
If you don'y want to give your email address out on here you could let me know at: email@example.com
