This is a Teaser trailer for Star Trek Incursion.

People who saw my last trailer might recognise some of the footage and some people might recognise some footage that was originally for another project but i found a way to save me a BIT of work to fit it into this story.

Anyway its just a Teaser just really a look at the stuff you can expect dosnt really give any story plots on it.

Anway Enjoy, and leave any comments, there greatly apreciated.

Very good effects, Alam effects were very well incorporated, e.g. to show ships powering up etc.

My only qualms is I'd like to see real actors rather than poser models, it would have been fantastic to see people compositied into those sets. There may be some compositing in the exterior shot, the guys wearing black, not sure. Also, a plot would have been good (since you seem to have assimilated ideas that you've had, maybe you're still not quite sure of this yet).

Still, a good trailer, deserves a 4

It's looking good, especially the planets colliding, the only thing I think you should do is get rid of the white flashes in the trailer, they were offputting.

I think they would look better if you faded them in father than flashing them and dissolve to the shot from the white rather then cutting back to black for the fade in...

I followed a tutorial in a Magazine i bought to create the planets, took a little while to crazy thanks for the comments. I did think about taking the white flashes off as well so thanks for the comment on that. Yeah i dont know why it says its a second long either, maybe that was my mistake razz

I'm a sucker for anything Trek. Well done. A voice-over with the trailer might give your story a bit more depth.

I prefer the 3D characters. They make this movie different from all the others biggrin .

It looks like a computer game, unfortunately - its all scanlined (or looks it) and therefore plasticky and weightless.

What packages did you use and what, if any, models did you actually build?

I am going to have to disagree with everyone who said to composit real actors into the shot. I have never liked seeing a real person on a computer background. Likewise, i've never liked a computer person on a real background. Watching it just never felt right to me. But... when they are left in their own element(computer person/computer background) it has verisimilitude and it works.
