OS X User Switching

I was just curious if there was a problem with Chromanator when used on an OS X (X.3?) machine with multiple users set up. Because that's what I'm using, and even after all this time I can't get Chromy to install on my freaking machine. And this is getting important to me. Traditionally, I've done editing at a friend's house because we don't have the space to do it on this computer, but my dad finally bought a big ol' hard drive for me to use, so I'd like to have all my apps running for editing. Anyway, I just tried installing the Gold Version, and it says something like "script error: unkown #user_something_something" and then it says "error <void>" and i have to force quit it. Please help.

Are you an admin on the Mac? You can only install if you are admin and you may be required to be admin to run it at all on some systems.

Thanks for responding, and yeah, I'm set up as an admin. I suppose I should say it installed, but when I choose the keyfile off my desktop, the poblems begin.

Did you install the program, on your startup drive? Have you deleted the documents folder within your user folder? What version of OSX are you running?

In order: yes, I think so (the one in my docs labled Chromanator Files?) and 10.3

for clarity, the error message i think said:
property not found
then another message that said
Then it locks down and i have to force quit it.

I had the same, or at least a very similar, problem. Have csb resend your key, and re-install. that's all it took for me.

Good point Axeman - try the key resender and downloading your key from the link provided, make sure you DON NOT use any key files your might have got as an email attachment in the past.

Yeah, that's the first thing I did before I started this string. I've tried it a few times, but it's the exact same thing each time.

Unfortunately I am having the exact same problem when launching the Chromanator demo. There is no way I am ever going to buy the product if the demo doesn’t even work!
I have Mac OS 10.3
I am an admin
I have a G5
I would be very happy if the bug could be fixed.
