I tried loading an uncompressed video file into chromy, but it doesn't seem to recognize it cry . Even when I rendered the movie, the area where the clip was supposed to be was black. Please help. Thanks.

Could you give me a bit more information about your clip please, is it quicktime or avi? where did you export it from? what are its dimensions?

Also is it only this particular clip or does it happen for all uncompressed movies, if so if you could email me say 1-2MB clip for me to test i'll hopefully be able to fix the problem for you. tim@fxhome.com

It's AVI. Its dimensions are 720x480. I exported from my editing program (roxio movie creator). However, it accepted a clip exported in Alam DV2.

I've downloaded the demo of this Roxio VideoWave editing software and exported an NTSC clip using Uncompressed AVI. It shows up fine in Chromanator, and exports. Have you got the latest version 1.0.4?? If you have further problems, try exporting from VideoWave using another format.
