We've added a couple of new Chromanator tutorials to the site today, focusing on creating artificial shadows and presets. We're always interested in what tutorials you would like to see in the future, so if there's a specific topic you would like to know more about just let us know.

You may have noticed that the Chromanator forum was getting a little overloaded with tutorials. To counter this, Malone has been busy creating a special tutorial listing system, which is now online.

Simply go to the Tutorials page to check out the new listings, which enables you to browse all the tutorials by category. This should prove to be a much more convenient way of finding help.

We'll have more information on AlamDV3 coming soon, so watch this space!

These have more-or-less replaced the video tutorials, I'm sad to say.

While the video tutorials were a lot of fun, and helpful for some people, they also suffered from many problems - download size, the fact I had to whip through the topics so fast (not easy for people that don't speak English as a first language), etc etc.

The AlamDV2 video tutes were done a long time ago, when our product line-up and general company setup was very different (they existed before FXhome even existed, remember). We've raised the game on every other level, but to raise the video tutes to the required standard would call on more time than we currently have to spare.

In the future the tutorials might have a larger video element, but I think the text-based versions are currently superior on just about every front, even if they aren't as funny. smile
