What's this I/O plugin error stuff

When I try to install some plugins I get I/0 error and the application quits.
Any idea?

What are your system specs? What version of Quicktime do you have installed? What color depth are you in?

Hi, my system specs are:
P4 2.0Ghz 1GB ram 240GB HD
I am using Quicktime 6.5.1
1024x768 32bits
