Hi Guys,

I have AlamDV2 and Chromanator. These are the two BEST bargains I have ever purchased. I am having a problem with plugins. My fault, I am sure. I first learned how to do the Phantasm Ball and make it fly. This was neat. I had the need to do the same thing with an object of my own. So I created it. It seems, that I did NOT get the Alpha channel , so the object was surrounded by a square black box. That's 'OK' I went back and created an Alpha Channel. Now everything looks really fine on the screen.

But, the problem is . . . I cannot make the object move. It gives me a message 'You cannot stretch this object'

My Question is 'Why?' and 'What can I do to animate this object?'

Thanks in Advance for Any Help. This is one of the NEATEST forums that I have ever seen.

Make sure when you make the plugin to check the box that says this plugin is a loop or something like that

Thanks Anyway,

But for some crazy reason, this effect cannot be stretched. I have tried many variations of the settings.

Stumped!

Thanks for your information anyway.

Hmmm. Checking the loop box when building the plug-in should fix that. Also, you can set the default length for the plug-in when you are building it. Set it to 300 frames, and you will get a 10-second plug-in. If that doesn't work either, here is another solution you could try. Make 90 copies of your image, number them sequentially, and then build the plug-in from them. This will result in a 3-second animation of a still frame, basically. You could adjust the length of the plug-in by how many frames you create.

If you need more detailed info on any of these options, let me know. If you look through Plugger you should find it, though; everything is pretty well labeled, I think.

Have you tried setting the amount of frames to start out on at 30 in the plugger? That might work.

I have not tried all of the things that you have suggested since the first suggestion. I had to finish my animation in Premiere. But, just for curiousity, I am going to try each and every suggestion. You guys are wonderful! I thank you for the help.

Thanks!!

It worked!!! It was the frames setting. When I changed it to 30 frames, it imediately started behaving itself. I KNEW that SOMEONE had to have had this problem before. Thank all of you SSSOOOooooo Much! smile
