I need help with the Star wars hologram in Chromanator. So, the bottom layer is the object with only the person left, then is Andreas' interference, next is the bottom layer with the person masked out. Is this right, if so, what do I do next. How do I key out the static so it forms the same shape as the bottom layer? How do I make the first, and second layer transparent. Then I'll tell you if I run into problems on the glow part. I wish i had a good greenscreen shot wink

You'd get quicker help if you'd posted this in the Chromanator help forum. smile

I'm not entirely clear whether you've read the hologram tutorial...if not, check it out:

It runs through everything you need to do in order to get the static the correct shape. To make a layer transparent you just choose the Transparency tool from the Effects toolset.

I figured it out now, thanks Tarn. I discovered my own way, I think, for Garbage Mattes, You just save the mask as a preset and lay it over the scan lines, you use this also for the blueness. I was tired last night and couldn't think. wink
