Ok I know I'm only 2 days new but now that I have followed the manual step by step I still can't render out properly. I only get black video. I do see a chromakey scene on the monitor. I have my in's and out set properly but still I don't quite get it. Anyway I do have progressive scan video so I was wondering if this was the problem.... Dispatch Out...

Progressive scan wouldn't be a problem. Do you just have the demo? I'm not sure if that allows full rendering or not... if it doesn't then that's probably the problem.

No, the demo does allow rendering (at least part of the scene, I think). It's just watermarked.

But I don't know what the problem would be, though. confused

Nope full version but still not sure... I'll keep trying... I've tried QT. AVI, so I'm not really sure... I'm even checking the steps off as I go on the manual just to double check... HHHmmm anyway Thanks

As Marek says, please upgrade to Gold user. You can do this by going to your FXhome options and entering the magic code that was provided when you bought the program.

As for your problem...silly question, but do you have the required tracks turned on? This isn't a problem I'm familiar with - make sure you have the latest version too (although if you only got it 2 days ago you should do already).

Are you trying to render as a .mov or an .avi file? DV or uncompressed?
