Uninstall Chromanator and use the serial resended - do not use the serial you got via email before. Make sure you delete the Chromanator folder in your documents folder as well.

The resent email will point you at a webpage where you can download your serial. Reinstall Chromanator and use that serial.

My Chromanator was working fine until tonight-I tried opening it and received the message:

There has been an internal error and the error log has been saved.

Followed by: Direct Player Error Property not found #stream

I kept clicking okay then cancel but the message kept repeating over and over until I ctrl-alt-del out of it. I uninstalled chromanator, deleted the chromanator file in my documents folder and downloaded a fresh key from the key resender. The new install kept giving me the same error message. I have tried the reinstall at least 4 times without success. The error log (at least one of the many) is:

<object>
[#object_type : #error]
[#os: "WinXP"]
[#director_os: "Windows,32"]
[#version: "5.1"]
[#directx: "9.0.0"]
[#quickTime: 6.5000]
[#color_depth: 32]
[#application_name: "chromanator"]
[#application_type: #standard]
[#application_version: 1000004]
[#total_memory: 1073172480]
[#free_memory: 1162291240]
[#error: "Script runtime error"]
[#Message: "Property not found"]
[#function_list: [#r42, #r48, #r43, #r2, #r26, #S4, #t15, #u15, #u6, #u5, #u14, #t11, #ee2, #dd5, #dd4, #d8, #d10, #d8, #d7, #d11]]
</object>

Any and all help very much appreciated as I am addicted to chromanator and don't wish to go through withdrawal during my vacation.... ;^)

I got the same thing like 20 minutes ago.
I went to open Chromanator and this popped up: There has been an internal error and the error log ("Mac HD:Users:Documents:Chromanator Files:20040601100139_error.txt" has been saved. When I select OK it says Directory Player Error:Property Not Found:#Stream)

Were you opening it by clicking on the application or a saved file?

The application. It has been working fine all day, and then I closed it to work in ALAMDV. When I went back to chromonator to use it, I got the repeated error messages.

All it says is "Directory Player Error" in the title of the box and then the yellow triangle with the exclamation point and these words:

Property not found

#stream

Thought maybe that would help. I am really in a huge crunch here and I know time can't be sped up but I would really like to resolve this as soon as possible if anyone has any idea where to start. It seems to me tied to how Chromanator interfaces with the internet because 1. It happens at the same time that my Norton Security asks me if I want to grant Chromanator acess to the internet, and 2. Because the posters above seem to have gotten the same problem at the same time.

Right, this is a horrible little bug to do with some third party code we had. It would have effected many many people. We have fixed the bug and will upload 1.0.5 as soon as possible which should run just fine.

Sorry for the problems.

Ah, then no problem. As long as I know that it can be fixed and will be fixed (maybe this week?) I can just focus on some other stuff. Thanks a lot, I love FXHome!

Can you try posting the link here maybe I'm looking in the wrong place.

It's probably just your browser caching the page. Do a hard-refresh on that page.

I had the same problem described in this thread. I am impressed with how fast you guys came up with a solution. Kudos.

Only problem is, I cannot download 1.05. When I hit the download link it sends me to the "user login" page (while welcoming me back on the same page, no less). Is there a problem with my account? Obviously I'm logged in enough to post this reply.
