Maybe I'm still trying to do way more then I know but since I figured out this program some how I'm loosing audio... The scene is basically me talking in front of a green scene. Then replacing the back ground with a picture or moving video... I’ve tried both and I still keep getting no audio... Settings are as follows. The original footage is Progressive scan but the background is not and of course the picture used for the background is not. I’m using an XP1900 with a gig of ram with windows XP Pro.
Direct Show DV. Avi
High Quality open GL
Antialaised is checked… Thanks for the help

thats the point. Chromy is only a visual program. The sound is removed from the clip when you are working with it. after you render, sync your sound back up with the picture in your regular editor. Chromy is not a regular editor. You export little short shots from it so that you can edit those together later in your editor (Premiere, Vegas, etc.)

You can add your sound back in post by puting the original clip in the audio track and the new clip in the video track of an NLE. Also, I think they were originally planning to make chromanator able to render out the sound from one of the clips that you select. I don't know if they will do that in the next version or not.
