Hey, I need help on lightsaber clashes. What is the best clash effect for light sabers being clashed together for a long period of time, like 5-10seconds. Then what is the best combo of plugins or just single plugins for a regular clash. And, finally, should the clash glow get bigger over time if it's a long clash, and if so, do I add an AlamDV light bulb behind the clah and keyframe the glow. How was this Clash created?
And lastly, what is the best plugin for a spark coming off of a light saber and where is the best sound effect for this effect.

The best plugin for regular clashes are (surprise, surprise) the "AlamDv1 Photoclashes". You really want to have them last 2 frames like muzzle flashes and get almost twice the size on the second frame and then use a yellow lightbulb if you want.
For long clashes when two sabers ar "locked" together, take a look at Episode II during the Yoda fight at the end, there's a closeup of this kind of effect there (You could also use the films as reference for the clashes as well.
As for the sparks, Be creative, there are 16 spark effects, Go Crazy!

I don't own Episode I, yah yah, I know I should, but, can anyone tell me the combo of effects to use and the key frames, like, yah. Then I still need the name of Sharp's sound effect that would go good with a long clash and sparks.
Then, are sparks every clash, or just some clashes? And when usually do they happen, just randomly? And what is the best effect for sparks for sabers? And do fireworks work good sometimes for clashes, cuz that's what it looks like the guy did up top.

The one depicted above is one of ALAMDV1 Blue clashes with "Long Sparks" plugin. Another good sparkely particle effect would be "Simple Sparks". That way you can add variety. Also when applying sparks for several seconds on each new spark plugin instance rotate its position so it is not as monotinous. Spark plugins
Did that answer your question?

I would think put a yellow lightbulb, and change the glow each frame, to give it a rapid flash like appearance. Just make it random.

Like I just said
Put a lightbulb on it and change the glow at each fram so it wobbles.
