i get an error when i try to open a file!!

when i open a File in AlamDV2 i get this message that sais

"Your Media file/folder had been moved - Please reselect it before we continue."

Where would I go to find it. A Browse folder comes up but im not sure where to find it. i dont even know WHAT to find. Can somone help me? Ill appreciated it. thanks

That means that you moved the file that you were puting effects on. Like if you were adding effects to effect.avi, then saved and then moved it, then when you open up the program again the program doesn't think it's there. You just have to either leave your stuff in the same place when you're doing effects, or now you would have to find the file. Do you know where you moved it to?

Just hit locate, and find the original video file. To avoid this, keep the file in the same place on your hard drive.

well thats the thing, i dont know where i moved it to. I dont think i even moved it at all. its still in the same place. it does it now to ALL of my AlamDV2 projects.

Do you have a folder that you keep all your clips in and then moved that?

yes i have a folder that i keep all my clips in. No I did not move it. Its talking about the Media, i remember earlier today i changed somthing with my Media and now i dont know how to change it back. I remember it saying somthing about "Start/Settings if you wish to change it back" but i dont know where start/settings is.

Just find out where it is by searching in My Computer or Finder(Mac) and remember the exact location. In the browser that pops up, click on that file, like select it, and then it should come up.

Just go to search and type in the name of your movie file, it should find it and then you can look at where the file is through that.

Have you altered the source files at all? Even if the files are still there, changing them could cause problems.
