This is a trailer for a comedy/action that me and my friend have been/still are working on. The movie itself is about an average day on the job for two assassins. This is my first attempt with AlamDV2. I hope you enjoy it and I would appreciate some constructive criticism on it. Thank you.

I liked the wild 7 quote in the beginning. This movie looked as though you were trying to make a serious drama, but knowing it is meant to be funny made it better. looks quite interesting.

It was decent. The effects were pretty good. And the acting was better than some. Overall, a 3. That's all I'll say.

What's with the guitar case? Is this 'Caucasian Mariachi in a house'?

Thanks. Yeah its hard to come by good actors willing to help out. Yeah the guitar case was stolen from that movie. We take no credit for thinking of that smile we just liked it. Thanks for the input, too bad no one has actully ranked the movie sad

Thanks. Yeah it was defiently inspired by movies like that, but sadly we dont have any Johnny Depps around willing to help out for free. I think we are also going to reshoot that scene with the heavy-set fellow (with the annoying fountain in the background). We are going to reshoot it without the fountain (which didnt sound over-bearing when we were filming). We are also going to work on the audio alot in general. It should turn out well smile

Also - how do you dienterlace in Premiere 6?

Looks pretty cool. Tell me, where did you get the gun you used in that? The one in the preview screen?

The gun is a real stage gun (oxy-moron??). It just shoots blanks for movies/plays ect. (the end is plugged so you cant shoot real bullets, but you can, as I said, just shoot blanks to get the sound and muzzle flash). It is my friend's dads that he uses in a big play that he acts in/directs called Murder Mystery. Thanks

Not a bad little trailer, some better costumes (too many trainers, I thought but Takashi Sorimachi wears trainers in one of the ultimate assassin movies, so that's cool), props and lights would have set it off fantastically. Lots of moody lighting with faces half in shadow, people in slick suits and leather jackets maybe some leaning against lampposts, smoking in the rain and more diving about with two berettas is how I'd have done it, but hey, variety is the spice of life, and it's probably better that we don't make exactly the same film. smile.

Also some better camera angles and more of an explanation of the story and a bit more action, all I got from that film was that it might be a "duellling assassins" film, which is also basically the premise of the film I'm working on now. Liked the guitar case, nice Mariachi rip-off quite good fun.

Overall it would be three stars, but that last bit with the guy stood on the beach against all the rickety wooden stuff, with that little boat thing tied up and the waves rolling over his (frankly innapropriate) shoes, and the flowers as the music builds and the big flaming hitman caption. Was worth one star all on it's tod. Following up with that rather disgusting yet amusing finale.

4 stars, like to see the whole film.

Thanks. Yeah, the explanation of the story in this trailer was rushed because we wanted to submit it in our little high-school film festival and that was the only footage we had, so it didnt explain as much as we would of liked. Same goes for the more action ect. There will be action in the final video though (hopefully out at end of august). Thanks for the comments.
