Can some one make a plugin, where a head explode, as seen in the Nintendo 64 game "Conker's bad fur day"? Parts of your head flying, much blood and stuff like eyes and brain.

But if some one does, pleace make it posible to use that effekt on any head. (If posible)

That isn't possible.

Either the plugin is just a head that does not resemble yours, or if you have After Effects you could use that to create your own head explosion. It's not possible to make a head explosion effect that explodes any head in AlamDV (unless there is a way to explode the quad???)

I think if you just had a plugin of a bunch of stuff splattering, you could just cut from your footage, to that.... Maybe? Doesn't seem like it would work very well.

perhaps a straight-on shot from the back? an angle directly facing the back of the head, with a generic sort of hair style. perhaps a blond and brunette variation?

that would be about the ONLY way I can figure that it could be done in AlamDV with a standard plugin. And even at that, there's still a fair chance that it will look like crap.

Why anybody would want to show a head exploding in their movie is beyond me. That's just nasty.

But it could be possible. I think back to the Monty Python skit "How Not To Be Seen" in which various people are completely blown up. Really, if you frame-by-frame through it, they simply lock the camera off, film the guy, cut, move the guy, then detonate an explosion in the exact same place he was standing. Using the same principle, if the first frame of the exploding head was exploded enough, it would not have to match any particular head in your film, there would just be gross stuff and disgusting gore flying all over. And at the speed at which that sort of thing would happen, it is quite likely that you wouldn't actually see the head coming apart. It would be there one frame, and it would be all over the next. It would require removal of the original head from your footage starting at the first frame of the plug-in, but you would have to remove the head no matter how you tried to do the effect. I suspect the results would still be slightly above mediocre at best, but it coould be possible to pull it off. I certainly won't be trying it though.

Is it posible to do this in cromy, if I split up my head (greenscreen shot or two shots from the same place) then move them somewhere om the screen. It might not look good but it whould be good enoough for me.
