I've checked through the plugins but cant seem to find a decent, powder-like blood plugin for use for a gunshot wound. I've tried using practical methods but we can never seem to get the explosive-but-fine spray of blood that I am after. The kind of wound to which I am referring is like the ones seen in the following films:

- SNAKE EYES when Gary Sinise shoots the two people
- AIR FORCE ONE when Radeck is killed at the end of the film

Obviously I don't expect everyone to know what I mean, so I will supply some caps on request. I am basically after a blood plugin that is large in pixel size, and very fine but red in colour, so much so it looks like a pale red mist exploding from the body. The Great One's frontal blood splatters are good, as are ada1989's blood plugins but I need finer blood than these.

Shall I post links to screen caps? I think my server is down but if people PM me I will email them to you if you send me your address.

Thanks a lot everyone.

What angles do you need. I can come up with a particle effect for that.

I take it you know exactly what kind of effect I mean? If so, brilliant! biggrin

As for angles, I'd like front, left side, and right side shots and perhaps some 45-degree angles (between the front and the side, you know?). Sorry if I am not making sense!

I'll just render multiple times in different angles and maybe change some settings.

Hey Ryan, good afternoon!

Did you try to send me a PM again? I got a mail saying I had one when my inbox is empty. Mods, what's going on?!

Did you get the ZIP file I sent you last night at all as well?

Thanks a lot.

Yea I got the .zip file. I have done some tests with the Blender particle generator (so yes redhawksrymmer I am using a 3D program). I will give you a update as soon as I can.

You have my greatest thanks Ryan. There's no rush or anything, I don't want it to seem like I am pestering you.

Perhaps I can send you some MPEG clips? That would be much better and would make me feel happier. Then you can see just how the blood flows/explodes.

Hey guys, could you guys get the little blood effect and render it out infront of a greenbackground. Post it up on the web so everyone could use it, that would be awesome, thanx!

Yea, I could do that. I would probably put it in the Chromy Backdrops section.

I think it would be better to render it in front of a black background.
