hey everyone, i just found out about alamDV and its pretty sweet.
well, here is my first question:
In the demo version, plz tell me that i should only be able to use like 5 effects. I hope thats right cuz its a demo, but everything else is there so not sure.
and another one, i watched the 5 sec matrix swirl thing in widescreen, and i figured out easily what they did, used a green screen with guy on his knee, (leg too straight) and took dif angle shots, but my question is this:
its in the widscreen format, withOUT the black bars, how do i get it to be the actual length in premier, using 4:3 ratio.
I dont care if i lose some picture, all ive been doing is simply add the black bars, but i would like to kno how to have it the actual ratio 2:35.1

About the matrix, that is the called "the famed matrix shot" and if you search the forums you'll find it wasn't done with green screen. It uses a bunch of different pics and morphing.
The demo should just put the ALAMDV logo on the front but you can download all the plugins.
As for the ratio part though I don't know. Looking forward to finding out too.

well, i guess i may have come up with a cheap way to do it without a billion cameras using a green screen
but surely, the guy was on the ground when pics taken, plus an early shot has something screwed up on the right, tree apears out of nowhwere

ive done it my self, and its pretty kool.. only problem is hitting the ground several times.....
