I have decided to give AlamDV a go from the November 2001 cover disc of PC Plus magazine. Unfortunately it requires registration and gives a CSB web address that now redirects you back to fxhome.com.

Can anyone help me out with the location of the registration page so i can obtain a Username and Serial Code?

Thanks in advance,

Mike.

You can't register the older versions anymore.

Ok.

Anyone prepared to let me have their old and no-longer-used username and serial?

Please!

No. If you want AlamDV, you'll have to buy it.

Easy tiger......

I do have a copy of AlamDV. It's a version given away free on a cover CD. Registration is required as a condition of it's use, but it didn't mention in the magazine that it was time-specific or that the publishers were unlikely to support registration after a given point in the future.

There isn't a piracy issue here (which is the impression I get from your curt response). The issue is with the AlamDV no longer supporting registration of a piece of software distrubted on the cover CD.

All I want to do is try out a fully working and legally owned piece of software rather than a restricted demo version. In these circumstances, I thought the request was quite reasonable.

I'm afraid that the AlamDV1 offer is several years old now and is no longer
in effect. AlamDV1 is a very old program and we wouldn't recommend that
anybody use it.

In fact, we are currently nearing completion on AlamDV3, which is light
years ahead of version 1. If you are interested, you can read some
information about it in these recent FXhome news posts:
