AlamDV3 LIVE WEBCHAT
Thursdsay, 12th August
12:00 PST / 20:00 GMT / 15:00 EST
Thursday, 12th August is a date to note in your diaries, as it will play host to the first ever live webchat with the makers of AlamDV3. At 3pm EST (8pm UK time and 12 midday PST) the FXhome team will be ready and waiting in the FXhome chatrooms specifically to answer all your AlamDV3 questions.
We'll post up a reminder next week along with further instructions on how to join and ask your questions. The discussion will last for approximately one hour, so make sure you get there on time!
The whole team will be there and we'll do our best to answer all your questions, but it might make matters easier if you know who to address your question to:
schwar - Head programmer and designer. Schwar is responsible for the design of the interface, its visual appearance and the main coding of all the exciting features. AlamDV has been his baby from the beginning and this time he's pushed the envelope so far we can't even see it anymore.
Tim - G6 infrastructure programmer. Tim codes lots of the clever behind-the-scenes stuff that handles media support and the composite engine. He's also responsible for optimising much of the core features, speeding them up to top gear.
Malone - FXhome webgod. Malone is mainly responsible for FXhome, making the web side of CSB-Digital run as smooth as a hot knife through butter. If you've bought a product, visited the FXhome cinema or browsed through the forums, you've been playing in Malone's world. He's also known as something of an optimisation king, thanks to his uncanny mathematical prowess, which helps to make the G6 programs run as fast as possible.
Tarn - Main writer and filmmaking maestro. Tarn is the one that writes the manuals, quickstarts and tutorials for the programs. He also writes all the news reports and nearly every line of text at FXhome. As the resident filmmaker, he provides a direct insight when it comes to testing and streamlining the programs for practical use. If you have any comments about the written word at FXhome or in the documentation, he's the one to ask.
We look forward to talking to you all on the 12th! In the meantime, don't forget the FXhome chatrooms are always open for idle banter, support questions and general discussion. Click here for more information.
