Hey, can anyone make a bamf effect for me, except make the smoke all black?? I really need this ha.

There is 3 very good nigthcrawler bamfs made by axman if thats what your looking for

use the image streem in cromy and use the hue thing to change color, and maby make it darker with the brightnes\darknes thingy

Excellent suggestion, Klut. If you use the image sequence from one of the Bamf plug-ins and composite it in Chromanator, you should be able to adjust the color quite easily to get a wide variety of effects. If you just need black, the Super Contrast tool in chromy will work quite well. I have used it in the past to create shadows for various elements I was compositing.

By using methods such as this you can get a lot more usage out of the existing effects, rather than needing to build a new one for each effect you come up with.

But if you try this and you can't get the effect you want, CX3, let me know what you need exctly, and I can give it a shot.
