Codec for AlamDV2

how can i get ew codecs for alamDV like divX or Xvid because i'm not able to open some of my movies !?

divx can be downloaded from divx.com.

However, AlamDV2 is not designed to work with these kind of codecs, and even if it was, you wouldn't want to use them. divx uses high compression to keep filesize down, and if you edit using that codec you will lose an awful lot of quality.

It's far better to use codecs that do not lose perceptible quality, like a DV codec, or just leave it uncompressed with no codec at all.

You say you aren't able to open your movies in AlamDV2. Check your codec settings in your editing program and change the codec to "Uncompressed". You should be able to open it in AlamDV2 then.
