Sorry for another dumb Newbie post but, if I buy and download AlamDV, I should have no problem running it here in the US, right? And also with using it in conjunction with Pinnacle Studio 9? And then as far as AlamDV 3 is concerned. I would just get a code allowing me to download it?

Thanks for your time,
~Huntercda~

I live in Texas- the US....duh- and I use Pinnacle 9, and I love AlamDV and it works fine. So buy it. And no, nobody's paying me to say this. AlamDV is a quality program. The easiest, quickest, cheapest, and BEST program I have ever used, hands down.

Thanks ben. smile (I'll slip you the cheque when nobody is watching)

However, if you think AlamDV2 is that good, you'd better prepare yourself for AlamDV3, as it might just cause you to self-combust.

I suspect you're right. If atom's computer gets too fullm (like w/ the plugins and the footage and stuff), we uninstall it and reinstall it on my computer. And vice-versa. This happens very seldom as uninstalling and reinstalling plugins is quite tedious work and can be very frustrating. So we try to keep AlamDV installed on atom's computer most of the time rather than mine. It's funny because; because of AlamDV we constantly find ourselves searching for excuses to use certain plugins. Like one day I went up to atom and said, "What if we had a Mercedes S-Class blow up witha lightsaber in it, and the passenger bamfs and appears in a hospital, and you see the EKG monitor beeping!" Okay, I didn't actually say that, but you get the idea.

Oh, and I paid for half of atom's copy of AlamDV, in fact, I initially had the username 'atom' I justed switched to ben3308 to avoid confusion.

Argh, ok it was unecessary, but i thought just a little thank you wasn't enough... and I had to say something about how long that answer was. And look! my 4. positive post! That made me very happy, but you're in a quite "after to get me mood" today aren't you.. (I removed your 1- if you did not get that)

And one last thing, if you had sent me a pm, I could have deleted it.

Edit: Ok, it looks like I can't, my mistake! Make jokes if you want to.

If alamDV isnt for you, I don't want to know what is.....!

seriously though, I have gone through many different effects and compostion programs and found the CSB ones to be the best.

I have premier pro 7, and pinnacle- the free one i got with my camera.

And i like using pinnacle more, its a wholeee lot faster and simpler.

I use edit video in pinnacle, put it in alam for special fx. And put the final into premiere to compression
