Cannot export my Dv movie files from Studio 9 into Alam DV? Studio 9 does not allow you to change the codec in DV mode?

Anyone out there , please instruct me on what to do or how I can import and export to Pinnacle studio 9...

Do you know if Alam DV3 will be compatible with Pinnacle studio 9?

Thanks

If you export uncompressed from Studio9 it should work fine in AlamDV2.

AlamDV3 will indeed be much better. It has much more sophisticated media support.

Hi Tarn

Thank you for your quick reply! When will Alam DV 3 be ready for the general public?

As for exporting in uncompressed form, Studio 9 does this automatically and the features are not able to set on your own. I am still having problems exporting to Alam DV 2 Can anyone out there give me a step by step on how to export from Pinnacle Studio 9 program to Alam DV 2?

I tried downloading the Virtual dub and nothing happened. I have not tried the Matrox codex yet, Would downloading the Matrox codex work?

I really wished I wouldn't have to go through all of the extra steps like sending the footage through a codex filter like Virtual Dub or Matrox and just do the regular thing like working between Studio 9 and Alam Dv2.

I did export a movie clip to Alam DV2 when I converted a Studio 9 file to AVI through my video converter. But then it was not able to import back to studio 9.
