Hmmm.... Your effects are not used well... But you are learning, just keep editing whith alamdv2, and you'll get better.
And one thing that I just did some days ago and learned alot from... IF YOU HAVEN'T, READ THE MANUAL!! IT'S GREAT! And you'll learn alot!

Try compressing it a lot more and more people will be able to watch it, and/or be willing to watch it.

Your NLE. Oh, and Klut, you can't 'edit' with AlamDV, you can only overlay 2 Dimensional effects. Just a pointer there for you. Alrighty then. Arthur, if you can't figure out how to compress the filesize, then send it to me.I'll compress it for you.

Can you explain though? I'd like to be able to do it myself in the future.

Okay when you're ready to render on your NLE, then you should have an option for compression settings, for instance, people oftentimes choose the compression codec known as 'Intel Video' or 'Indeo Video' or something like that. Once you find out how to change the codec, then PM me and I can help you find a good one from there. You really just have to use your own discretion when compressing. You either sacrifice space or video quality. Sometimes you can get away with both, but not always.

Forget what I said about recompressing this movie. Its compression is fine. No need to change that. I have to say, I really couldn't see where you were going with this or what was happening. The effects weren't horribly
placed, but they weren't the best. You just need to download some more plugins to fit what kind of effect you want. I give you a 2 for effort. Keep making those films, you'll get better.

I think that's some sort of editing a movie.... And for comression, resize and compress with virtualdub.

No, I'm afraid I didn't really enjoy this. It just didn't grab me, it offered nothing new and I had to look at the timer, way too many times to see how long was left. Not a good sign.
However while, you should probably have character and plot in your film, so I have even a vague idea of what's going on, and am invested in characters and so I'm not bored. And while you're editing is very slack, for what is effectively an action, sci-fi movie. There is a certain playfulness to it, which suggests that when you're good, you could make good, unpretentious, Rodriguez styled pictures. Also there was the occasionally interesting use of camera, which suggests you did't just plonk the camera down anywhere, but actually thought about it a bit. When you're good, you're films'll probably have a great visual style.
