Can anyone make the exclamation effect from Metal Gear Solid that pops over a guard's head and disappears when they're alerted?

Surely you can do this with your editing program's titling function?

Just write a title with "!" in and move it about appropriately wink

I was looking for something in 3D and with the same motion effect. It's not a simple wipe.

If you want it in 3D, wouldn't you need a very specific rotation on it?
I.e speed and direction, for it to match up?
