Hi Fellow SFXERs!

I just completed my short film and was trying to upload it here. I converted my AVi file to Windows Media to get it useable online.

I could not get it to upload no matter what I did?

My film is uncompressed

Thanks
Luna from Hawaii

You need to upload it to another site. FXHome just links to it, it doesn't host movies for you. Depending on the size, I might be willing to upload it to my site for you, but you'll have to get the file to me somehow. PM me if you want to go that route.

don't do it uncompressed. No one would ever be able to download a file that big. You need to compress it using a codec.

Hey luna. They have free web hosting some places, though most of it is so bad it isn't worth it. Try paying for hostony, or ask one of the many nice users located here in their natural habitat. smile PM them and find out how to get the file to them. Then they will host it on their website and you can link to it in the cinema via the movie submission section, under Cinema>Movie Management.
